Payments & Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
These terms outline the conditions regarding the purchase of subscriptions and in-app items within the Gwixy application, as well as our procedures for handling refunds.
1. Pricing and Billing Cycles
Gwixy offers various subscription tiers, including exclusive Founder Circle access. Prices are displayed in the app or on the website before you finalize your purchase. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.
2. Automatic Renewals
Unless canceled prior to the end of the current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current rate. By providing a payment method, you authorize Gwixy or the respective App Store to charge the applicable subscription fees.
3. Payment Methods
Payments for web-based subscriptions are processed securely through our authorized payment gateways (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full credit card information on our servers. For mobile app users, payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) using the payment method linked to your account.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Canceling your subscription will stop all future recurring payments. You will continue to have access to the premium features until the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
5. Subscription Refunds
As Gwixy provides immediate access to digital content, AI processing, and personalized data, all subscription payments (including Founder Circle tiers) are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
6. App Store Purchases (Apple / iOS)
If you purchased your subscription via the Apple App Store, refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly for these transactions. To request a refund from Apple, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
7. Google Play Purchases (Android)
If you purchased your subscription via the Google Play Store, refunds are handled by Google. You may request a refund directly through your Google Play account. In certain circumstances, if you contact our support team within 48 hours of purchase, we may be able to review the request, but we cannot guarantee a refund.
8. Web Subscriptions
If you purchased your subscription directly through our website, refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:
- Technical issues that permanently prevent you from accessing the service, which our support team is unable to resolve.
- Fraudulent or unauthorized charges (please contact your bank/credit card issuer as well).
9. Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our subscription prices at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to you in advance. For our early backers, specific "price lock" guarantees may apply, meaning your subscription rate will not increase as long as your subscription remains continuously active.
